硬质合金钻头刃口钝化型式对钻削42CrMo的影响

摘要:针对硬质合金钻头在加工42CrMo曲轴法兰端面盲孔时容易出现缠刀、断刀现象,选用刃口钝化型式为锐刃、圆弧型、斜面型和瀑布型的刀具进行钻削试验。试验表明,瀑布型刃口刀具具有最佳的切屑形态、刀具磨损和刀具寿命。采用这种刀具加工42CrMo可显著提高刀具使用寿命,降低生产成本。

Influence of Carbide Drill Edge Preparation on Drilling 42CrMo

Abstract:Regarding the chip winding and tool breakage in drilling blind holes in a 42CrMo diesel crankshaft,drilling experiments are carried out with carbide drills with sharp,chamfered,round and waterfall edge preparations.The results show that the drill with waterfall edge preparation has the best chip form,tool wear and life.By using this tool to drill the 42CrMo workpieces,the tool life can be greatly increased and the production costs can be also reduced.
