MG-Y型可调谐激光器驱动电路设计

摘要:基于Finisar公司的可调谐光源模块S7500,设计了一种高精度MG-Y型可调谐激光器的驱动控制电路,使ARM控制器STM32F103通过SPI1调谐14位9通道单片集成数模转换芯片MAX5113,实现单路±001mA分辨率的电流输出;同时通过SPI2控制可调电位器的阻值,将S7500的功率反馈信号放大并送至ARM内部12位AD,实时采集并校正输出功率;采用±0.003℃高稳定温度控制芯片ADN8834对热电制冷器(TEC)电流大小与方向进行控制。结果表明:通过该驱动电路,成功实现了激光器在C波段范围下、波长分辨率1pm的准连续可调,单点波长稳定度优于1pm,功率稳定度优于0.25dBm。

Drive Circuit Design of MGY Type Tunable Laser

Abstract:A high precision driving and controlling circuit of MGY tunable laser is designed.The system is based on Finisar′s tunable light source module,S7500.By using the SPI1 the ARM controller,STM32F103,tunes MAX5113,a 14bit,9 channels monolithic integrated digital to analog converter chip,the current output of ±0.01mA resolution is realized.Meanwhile,controlling the resistance of the adjustable potentiometer by SPI2,the power feedback signal of S7500 is amplified and sent to the 12bit AD inside the ARM,and the output power is collected and corrected in real time.The current magnitude and direction of thermo electric refrigerator(TEC) are controlled by a high performance temperature controller ADN8834 whose accuracy can reach ±0.003℃.The results show that the laser can be continuously adjusted in the range of C band,the wave length resolution and the stability of the single point wave length is less than 1pm,and the power stability is less than 0.25dBm.
