硬质合金刀具车削γ-TiAl合金的失效研究

摘要:用YG8硬质合金刀具在不同切削参数下车削γ-TiAl合金,通过观察刀具失效形貌和测定切削区域的元素成分,分析了切削参数对刀具失效的影响规律,并讨论了不同切削参数下刀具失效机理。结果表明:YG8硬质合金刀具车削γTiAl合金主要有磨损和破损两种失效形式;刀具磨损均以粘结磨损为主,同时会有一定程度的扩散磨损和氧化磨损,氧化磨损和扩散磨损会随着切削参数的提高而加重,导致刀具寿命降低;切削参数过大会导致刀具在极短切削时间内发生破损,同时刀具磨损也会导致刀具在稳定切削一段时间后发生破损。

Study on Tool Failure of Carbide Tools in Turning γTiAl Alloy

Abstract:The turning experiments of γTiAl with YG8 carbide tools under different cutting parameters are conducted.By observing the tool failure morphology and determining the element composition of the cutting area,the influence of cutting parameters on tool failure is analyzed,and the mechanism of tool failure under different cutting parameters is discussed.The results show that two main kinds of failure modes of YG8 carbide tool when turning γTiAl alloy are wear and brea kage.The tool wear is mainly bonded by adhesive wear,at the same time,there exist a certain degree of diffusion wear and oxidation wear.The oxidation wear and diffusion wear will increase with the increase of the cutting parameters,which leads to the reducing of tool life.Tool large cutting parameters lead to the breakage of the cutting tool in the very short cutting time,and the tool wear will also cause the breakage of the cutting tool after stable cutting for a period of time.
