插铣工艺刀具失效机理分析

摘要:为研究插铣过程中刀具的失效机理,建立了插铣刀具三维有限元仿真模型。以铝合金和钛合金为对象,对插铣过程中刀具的受力、温度和应力情况进行仿真和对比,分析刀具的失效机理,预测刀具的失效形式和失效区域,开展插铣试验验证刀具底刃是失效的高发区域,发现插铣铝合金刀具产生轻微涂层剥落、插铣钛合金底刃崩刃较多和局部区域被磨平等现象。针对不同工件材料的插铣加工,在刀具材料、几何参数、涂层选择以及冷却润滑等方面提出相应的建议措施,以降低刀具磨损和提高刀具耐用度。

Analysis on Tool Failure Mechanism in Plunge Milling Process

Abstract:In order to study the failure mechanism of the tool during the plunge milling process,a threedimensional finite element simulation model of the plunge milling tool is established.The aluminum alloy and titanium alloy are used as the object to study the force,temperature and stress of the tool during the plunge milling process.Simulation and comparison,analyzing the failure mechanism of the tool,predicting the failure mode and failure area of the tool,and carrying out the plunge milling experiment,verifying that the tool bottom edge is the highincidence area of the failure,and found that the insert milling aluminum tool produces a slight coating peeling,inserting The bottom edge of the milled titanium alloy has more chipping and localized areas are equalized.For the plunge milling of different workpiece materials,corresponding measures are proposed in terms of tool materials,geometric parameters,coating selection and cooling lubrication.The tool wear is reduced and the tool durability is increased.
