基于成型工艺的整体立铣刀三维实体建模

摘要:整体立铣刀因其良好的切削性能在航空航天、轨道交通和医疗器械等行业得到广泛应用。精确的三维实体模型是整体立铣刀数字化设计的基础,简化模型无法满足高性能立铣刀的精确建模需求。本文提出基于成型工艺的整体立铣刀三维实体建模方法,根据整体立铣刀实际制造工艺流程,以砂轮形状、砂轮相对刀具毛坯棒料的位姿关系以及砂轮运动轨迹为输入条件,采用NX12.0扫掠体功能依次建立整体立铣刀容屑槽、周刃后刀面、Gash面和底刃后刀面等结构,获得与成型工艺相匹配的立铣刀三维实体模型。刀具实例验证结果表明,该方法可有效提高建模精度和效率。

3D Solid Modeling Method of Integral End Mill Based on Forming Process

Abstract:The overall end mill is widely used in aerospace,rail transit,medical equipment and other industries due to its good cutting performance.Accurate 3D solid models are the basis for the digital design of integral end mills.However,existing models are often simplified models that do not meet the precise modeling requirements of high performance end mills.To this end,a threedimensional solid modeling method of integral end mill based on forming process is proposed.According to the actual manufacturing process of the whole end mill,the shape of the grinding wheel,the positional relationship of the grinding wheel relative to the blank of the tool and the movement track of the grinding wheel are taken as input conditions.Using the NX12.0 sweeping body function,the overall end mill chip pocket,the peripheral blade flank,the gash surface,the bottom edge flank surface and other structures are sequentially established,and the threedimensional solid model of the end mill matching the forming process is obtained.The tool example is used to verify the results.The results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the modeling accuracy and efficiency.
