核级316L不锈钢车削加工硬化及切削速度对刀具寿命的影响

摘要:核燃料组件中薄壁零件采用核级316L不锈钢加工而成,其质量优劣影响核反应堆的稳定运行。针对核级316L不锈钢开展车削加工试验,研究不同的车削参数对不锈钢表面硬化及刀具寿命的影响。结果表明:不锈钢精密车削加工时普遍存在表面硬化,硬化层厚度可达数百微米,同时车削参数对加工硬化影响显著;切削速度对刀具寿命影响大,当速度过大或过小时,刀具寿命较短。

Effect of Turning Hardening and Cutting Speed on Tool Life based on
Nuclear Grade 316L Stainless Steel

Abstract:The thinwalled parts of the nuclear fuel subassembly are made of nuclear grade 316L stainless steel,whose quality affects the stable operation of the nuclear reactor.In this paper,turning experiments are carried out on nuclear grade 316L stainless steel,and the surface hardening and tool life of stainless steel are studied through different cutting parameters.The results show that hardening is common in stainless steel turning.The thickness of the hardened layer can reach hundreds of microns,and the turning parameters have obvious influence on the working hardening.Cutting speed has a great influence on tool life,when the speed is too large or too small,tool life is short.
