PCD刀具几何参数对Cf/SiC复合材料铣削质量的影响

摘要:陶瓷基复合材料因其独特的耐磨性和耐高温性能,广泛应用于航空航天、能源和汽车等领域。但由于其基体材料的脆硬性和增强相的各向异性,给机械加工过程带来了很大挑战。针对二维编织的碳纤维增强陶瓷基复合材料,设计了不同几何参数的PCD刀具进行槽铣试验。纤维拔出、纤维剥落和纤维断口回弹显著降低槽底表面质量,微崩边和毛刺是直槽边的主要加工缺陷。试验结果表明,PCD刀具前角为3°、后角为20°、钝圆半径为10μm时,直槽加工质量较好。

Milling Quality Assessment in milling 2D Cf/SiC Composites by PCD Tools 
with Different Geometric Parameters

Abstract:Ceramic matrix composites are widely used in aerospace,energy,automotive and other fields because of the excellent wear resistance and high temperature resistance.Nevertheless,the brittle matrix and the anisotropic reinforcing phase bring great challenges to the machining process.For 2D Cf/SiC ceramic matrix composites,PCD tools with different geometric parameters are designed for slot milling experiments.Fiber pullout,fiber debonding and fiber springback significantly reduce the surface quality of the slot bottom.Micro edge chipping and burr are main surface defects of straight slot edge.The experiment results show that the surface quality of straight slot is better when the rake angle is 3°,the clearance angle is 20°,and the cutting edge radius is 10μm of the PCD tool.
