基于SolidWorks的立铣刀三维实体建模

摘要:基于锥形砂轮加工立铣刀螺旋槽的过程,介绍了在SolidWorks环境下,以砂轮形状、砂轮相对铣刀毛坯的安装位置、砂轮与铣刀毛坯端面的初始位置以及砂轮运动轨迹为条件,采用实体扫描切除功能模拟螺旋槽刃磨过程进行三维实体建模的方法;将建模过程参数化,分析了螺旋槽刃磨砂轮安装位置对螺旋槽槽型的影响,在此基础上提出了满足槽型设计参数的砂轮安装位置反向求解方法;基于立铣刀侧刃与端刃刃磨过程,依次建立立铣刀侧刃后刀面、端刃齿隙与端刃后刀面特征,获得与刃磨工艺相匹配的立铣刀三维实体模型。实例验证结果表明,该方法建立的三维实体模型符合设计参数要求,并且表面光滑可直接用于CAE仿真计算。

3D Solid Modeling of End Mill Based on SolidWorks

Abstract:Based on the process of machining spiral grooves of end mills with conical grinding wheel,the method of 3D solid modeling is introduced in SolidWorks environment,which takes the shape of grinding wheel,the installation position of grinding wheel relative to milling cutter blank,the initial position of grinding wheel and milling cutter blank end face,and grinding wheel motion track as the conditions.The modeling process is parameterized,and the influence of the installation position of the grinding wheel with spiral groove edge on the spiral groove profile is analyzed.On this basis,the inverse solution method of the grinding wheel installation position meeting the groove design parameters is proposed.Based on the grinding process of the end milling cutter′s side edge and end edge,the characteristics of the end mill′s flank,end blade backlash and end edge flank are established in turn,and the 3D solid model of the end mill matching with the grinding process is obtained.The results show that the 3D solid model established by this method meets the requirements of design parameters,and the surface is smooth,which can be directly used in CAE simulation.
